What you will do

• Lead end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of accountants, including internationally distributed members.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables.
• Champion and implement process improvements to enhance close efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Leverage data tools, automation, and AI-enabled technologies to modernize reporting workflows.
• Manage external audit relationships and ensure alignment with U.S. GAAP and company standards.

Requirements

• 7 to 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement fundamentals.
• Experience with foreign entity accounting and multi-entity consolidation.
• Advanced Excel skills and deep experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with data and automation tools like Power BI or SQL.
• Work authorization for the United States is required.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent professional certification.
• Big 4 or large public accounting firm background.
• Experience with public company reporting requirements or IPO readiness efforts.
