What you will do

• Design mechanical systems for new nuclear power plant designs or modifications to operating plants.
• Perform complex mechanical system design engineering and technical analysis for assigned systems.
• Develop P&IDs and conduct calculations for pipe sizing, thickness, pumps, control valves, and heat exchangers.
• Provide technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to lower-level engineering staff.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements while coordinating with US-based execution teams.
• Develop recommendations for equipment and materials selection through complex research.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Active engineering registration or licensure (PE) to support Engineer of Record (EOR) requirements.
• U.S. citizenship is strictly required for this position.
• Working knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations related to nuclear power plants.

Nice to have

• Expertise in Condensate, Feedwater, Cooling water, or Steam systems.
• Experience with Demineralized (DM) water supply and make-up systems.
• Strong written technical communication skills.
