What you will do

• Manage multidisciplinary projects from concept through construction, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Lead mechanical design for healthcare facilities including hospitals, emergency departments, and medical office buildings.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and design for ductwork, piping, and energy management.
• Coordinate directly with clients and owners to determine specific project needs.
• Review project submittals and conduct construction administration trips.
• Coach and support junior engineers in developing their technical and professional skills.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in mechanical engineering.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Nashville, TN.
• 5 or more years of experience in healthcare-specific design (preferred).
• Proficiency in Revit for creating 3D models, families, and system layouts.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license (preferred).
• Prior engineering consulting experience.
