Mechanical Engineer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Manage multidisciplinary projects from concept through construction, aligning scope, schedules, and budgets.
• Work directly with clients and owners to define project needs and maintain professional relationships.
• Lead mechanical design for hospitals, free-standing emergency departments, ambulatory surgery centers, and medical office buildings.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, mechanical room, instrumentation, controls, energy management, ductwork, and piping design.
• Apply applicable codes and owner guidelines, review submittals, and conduct due diligence and construction administration trips.
• Prepare technical reports, assessments, and specifications while coaching developing engineers.

Requirements

• On-site work in Nashville, Tennessee, USA
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Five or more years of experience, preferably in healthcare-specific design.
• Experience with Revit, including 3D models, families, schedules, and system layouts.
• Project management and engineering consulting experience.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
