What you will do

• Collaborate with automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers to analyze system architectures and define audio use cases.
• Integrate silicon provider audio drivers into the QNX audio framework, aligning hardware drivers with sound architecture.
• Design and implement new features, including security policy-driven audio and concurrent management to meet UX requirements.
• Optimize audio processing algorithms and latency performance for compatibility with Qt and Android Audio HAL.
• Partner with internal Bluetooth, BSP, and Multimedia teams to evolve the QNX audio framework's functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in systems software development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for developing memory-safe, performance-critical embedded components.
• Experience with QNX Sound Architecture or similar embedded sound frameworks.
• Ability to use JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and GDB to diagnose complex real-time issues.
• Must be based in the United States.
