What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain real-time embedded software in C++ within a Linux environment.
• Develop low-latency, deterministic systems that meet strict timing and reliability requirements.
• Interface embedded software with FPGAs via memory-mapped I/O, DMA, interrupts, and custom protocols.
• Collaborate with FPGA, hardware, and systems teams to define clean hardware/software interfaces.
• Analyze radar data from customers and operations to root-cause anomalies.
• Convert prototype algorithms and processing concepts into production software.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C++.
• Deep understanding of real-time constraints, latency, determinism, scheduling, and concurrency.
• Solid grasp of embedded systems fundamentals including memory, interrupts, and DMA.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance in the future.

Nice to have

• Understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) and/or RF sensors and systems.
• Experience using Modern C++ (C++11 or later).
