Location: Must be based in EST/AST time zones (Eastern Canada), excluding Quebec. Hybrid in Toronto (min. 2 days/week) or remote within Eastern Canada.

Salary: $116,500 – $157,500 CAD

What you will do

• Build tools and automate processes to support production infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to solve cross-disciplinary architectural scaling challenges.
• Partner with product feature teams to define requirements and implement infrastructure for new product launches.
• Share knowledge across the department to improve internal processes and technical understanding.

Requirements

• Must be located in EST/AST time zones (Eastern Canada), excluding Quebec.
• Experience building and supporting highly available, multi-region production infrastructure.
• Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable code for tools, services, and systems.
• Experience deploying, securing, and scaling Kubernetes clusters with a focus on automation and observability.
• Experience administering and optimizing cloud resources (preferably Azure) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Growth mindset and a strong interest in applying AI to improve engineering craft.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in C# or other Object Oriented languages.
• Experience with Terraform or Pulumi for Azure resources.
• Hands-on experience with AKS clusters in production.
• Experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell, and Windows/Linux hosts.
• Skill in building observability dashboards with tools like DataDog.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, Azure SQL, or ElasticSearch.
