ICT Designer (Infrastructure)

ICT Designer (Infrastructure): Designing and coordinating advanced ICT and low-voltage systems for large-scale, mission-critical data centers with an accent on structured cabling, telecommunications, and security infrastructure. Focus on integrating complex ICT systems into multidisciplinary building designs using BIM and Revit tools.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Canada)

What you will do

• Design and coordinate ICT and low-voltage systems, including structured cabling, telecommunications, access control, and CCTV.
• Develop detailed engineering documentation, such as system layouts, technical specifications, and equipment data sheets.
• Produce and maintain BIM models and CAD drawings using Autodesk Revit to ensure multi-discipline coordination.
• Perform engineering calculations and support technical validation of ICT infrastructure designs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure full integration of ICT systems into overall building design.
• Review contractor submittals and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design intent.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an ICT, telecommunications, or low-voltage systems designer.
• Must be based in Canada.
• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit and strong BIM modeling capabilities.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications standards, low-voltage systems, and engineering codes.
• English: B1 level or higher required.
