TL;DR

Human Resources Business Partner (HR): Supporting over 350 Engineers as a trusted advisor on people-related matters with an accent on employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. Focus on coaching leaders, enhancing the employee life cycle, and aligning HR processes with long-term business objectives.

Location: Must be based in Tysons, Virginia (Office 4 days a week)

What you will do

  • Provide strategic HR support, coaching, and thought partnership to the Software Engineering organization.
  • Manage key HR processes including performance reviews, employee development, hiring, and succession planning.
  • Develop people strategies and design approaches to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
  • Guide managers through complex employee relations matters, including investigations and performance improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with Recruiting, L&D, Compensation, and Legal teams to implement solutions and scale the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in an HR Business Partner role.
  • Must have valid US work authorization (sponsorship is not available).
  • Proven employee relations experience with the ability to manage delicate situations.
  • Ability to work from the Tysons office Monday through Thursday each week.
