What you will do

  • Build and scale high-performing engineering teams through strategic hiring, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Lead internal and external teams (3rd party partners) to deliver against company strategy and roadmap.
  • Champion technology stability and evolution to achieve Platform Stability KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and DevOps to optimize the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).
  • Manage portfolio prioritization, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience leading engineering organizations through high-growth and transformation phases.
  • Proven track record of building high-quality, scalable, and reliable complex software solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Agile environments and DevOps methodologies.
  • Solid knowledge of software architecture and application security principles.
  • Must be based in or able to work in Madrid, Spain (Hybrid model).

Nice to have

  • Experience with data platforms and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink).
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven ability to push complex projects to completion.
