What you will do

• Lead and scale the Core Experience engineering organization, supporting teams across AI, Nodes, Community, and Adoption & Retention.
• Set technical direction and architectural strategy to balance speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Partner with Product and Design leadership to translate high-level strategy into clear execution priorities.
• Guide the development of AI-powered product experiences, specifically focusing on the implementation of LLMs.
• Coach and develop engineering managers and team leads to foster a culture of high ownership and performance.

Requirements

• Several years of experience leading multiple engineering teams and managing Engineering Managers in high-growth SaaS environments.
• Proven track record of owning technical strategies and roadmaps for broad product areas.
• Strong engineering background with the ability to contribute to architecture and technical decision-making.
• Experience building and leading distributed teams in a remote-first environment.
• Direct experience with AI-native products or leading teams building AI-powered features.
• Must be based in Europe or have the legal right to work in one of the specified European countries.

Nice to have

• Experience with developer tools, workflow automation platforms, or extensible software.
• Passion for open-source projects and developer communities.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong product sense and experience partnering with Design teams.
