What you will do

  • Identify, nurture, and activate customer champions from practitioners to executives into visible advocates.
  • Build and scale formal customer advocacy and reference programs, managing pipelines for references, case studies, testimonials, and speaking engagements.
  • Own the end-to-end YII Awards program as a year-round advocacy platform, extending stories across marketing and communications.
  • Shape influencer and brand ambassador strategy, cultivate relationships with industry voices, analysts, and leaders for co-marketing opportunities.
  • Partner cross-functionally to activate customer and influencer voices, create centralized repositories of advocacy assets, and define scalable processes and KPIs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in customer advocacy, customer marketing, community, influencer, reference, or related programs.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a small team.
  • Highly relationship-oriented with strong instincts for identifying advocates and turning relationships into market opportunities.
  • Experience with customer storytelling, speaking programs, co-marketing, references, and influencer engagement.
  • Comfortable building structured programs with measurable outcomes in a matrixed organization.

Nice to have

  • Experience with B2C-style community, ambassador, loyalty, or influencer programs adaptable to B2B.
