What you will do

• Support end-to-end user research across the digital game portfolio, including playtests and usability evaluations.
• Moderate and proctor both in-person and remote research sessions with participants.
• Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to identify player challenges and opportunities.
• Contribute to clear, actionable research reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate physical logistics for sessions in the Montreal research lab.
• Stay current on UX research methods and trends within the game development industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Psychology, HCI, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Early career experience in UX research gained through internships, academic projects, or related work.
• Familiarity with core UX research methods and their application.
• Proficiency with PC hardware and current-generation game consoles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to prioritize multiple work streams.
• Must be located in or able to commute to the Longueuil/Montreal area to support lab operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with survey platforms such as Alchemer or Qualtrics.
• Interest in accessible and inclusive game design.
• Exposure to game development pipelines.
