Location: Hybrid (2-3 times/week in Sao Paulo, Brazil)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design and evolution of ERM methodologies, ensuring coherence across programs and geographies.
• Translate methodological requirements into GRC platform, product, and data specifications in partnership with engineering.
• Lead global standardization of ERM frameworks while enabling smart local adaptations for regulatory compliance.
• Drive the integration of ERM programs into new geographies to ensure alignment with group-level standards.
• Define and embed AI/agent use-cases into ERM workflows for risk suggestions, narrative pre-population, and quality checks.
• Partner with risk leaders and stakeholders to ensure practical usability and adoption of ERM frameworks.

Requirements

• Solid experience in Enterprise, Operational, or Non-Financial Risk management with ownership of a major framework (e.g., RCSA).
• Proven track record as a senior individual contributor leading complex risk initiatives end-to-end.
• Experience working in multi-geo or global environments, balancing global standards with local regulations.
• Strong ability to translate risk methodologies into systems and data requirements (data models, workflow design).
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.
• English: Strong written and verbal communication required.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in ERM, operational risk, or internal controls within financial services or fintech.
• Exposure to AI/ML or advanced analytics applied to risk, controls, or governance.
• Experience working closely with GRC or risk systems (e.g., JIRA-based workflows).
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations for risks and governance in Brazil and other key markets.
