What you will do
- Define and execute the regional tax compliance strategy and governance frameworks for all Latam jurisdictions.
- Oversee all direct and indirect tax filings to ensure total compliance with local statutory deadlines.
- Manage relationships with local tax BPOs and external advisors, ensuring alignment on technical positions and service quality.
- Collaborate with Controllership, FP&A, Legal, and Product teams to embed tax compliance into business planning.
- Drive digital transformation through the implementation of AI, tax technology integrations, and ERP automation platforms (SAP, Oracle).
- Develop executive-level dashboards and KPIs for real-time compliance monitoring and risk visibility.
Requirements
- 4+ years of senior leadership experience in multi-jurisdictional tax compliance within complex multinational environments.
- Deep technical expertise in Brazilian federal and state taxes (IRPJ, CSLL, PIS, COFINS, ICMS, ISS) and other major Latam jurisdictions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Law; CPA or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred.
- Proven experience leading large-scale AI-driven tax tech and ERP implementations.
- Fluency in both English and Portuguese is mandatory.
- Experience implementing and executing SOX controls.
