What you will do

• Shape the design system strategy for digital experiences, defining guidance on system adherence, extensions, and editorial approaches grounded in atomic design principles and built on MUI.
• Own UI quality across the digital experience by reviewing work, providing actionable feedback on interaction design, visual hierarchy, component use, motion, and accessibility.
• Drive design system adoption at the delivery level, ensuring correct component usage and feeding friction points back to the central Design Systems team.
• Coach and elevate the team's UI capability through critiques, knowledge sharing, and hands-on guidance.
• Act as conduit between delivery teams and central Design Systems/Brand teams, advocating for improvements and communicating updates clearly.
• Explore and embed AI-enabled efficiencies in UI practice, from generating variations to QA, while maintaining craft and consistency.
• Contribute as a senior practitioner on complex UI challenges requiring cross-team consistency or new patterns.

Requirements

• 8+ years in Product or UX/UI Design, with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI craft across complex digital products.
• Deep expertise in design systems, including driving adoption, surfacing friction, and contributing to evolution.
• Natural coach and craft leader who explains the why behind design decisions.
• Strong working knowledge of accessibility standards and practical application.
• Experience working across multiple teams or portfolios, influencing without direct authority.
• Fluency in Figma (component architecture, auto layout, variables, prototyping) and Miro/design tooling.
• Genuine curiosity about AI in UI practice with judgment on its application.
• Strong communication skills for precise feedback and translating complex decisions.
• Practical, collaborative mindset upholding quality within delivery realities.
