What you will do

• Lead design on foundational platform layers and cross-functional initiatives.
• Define patterns, primitives, and interaction models that scale across the product.
• Ship production code and build realistic coded prototypes to validate design concepts.
• Design AI-first capabilities with a focus on trust, transparency, and user control.
• Develop internal AI tooling and agents to accelerate the team's design practice.
• Mentor designers and elevate the team's craft, communication, and AI fluency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience shipping high-quality product design at scale.
• Proven track record of designing foundational surfaces like design systems or infrastructure.
• Demonstrable experience using AI as a design medium within the last 6 months.
• Ability to ship production code and use coded prototypes as a primary validation tool.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt altitude for various stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring designers and driving work autonomously in complex environments.

• Background in SaaS, communications, or real-time collaboration platforms.
