What you will do

• Partner with founders and product leads to translate business goals into intuitive user experiences.
• Lead design end-to-end, from initial discovery and research to interaction design and final production execution.
• Navigate complex trade-offs between user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of PMs and engineers to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Maintain a strong point of view on design craft and process while staying current with emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada with availability during Eastern Time Zone (EST) working hours.
• Proven experience leading product design end-to-end from strategy to production.
• Strong UX foundations including research, interaction design, user testing, and accessibility.
• High-level visual craft in layout, typography, iconography, and motion.
• Experience shipping products within startup or founding team environments.
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting work directly to clients.
