What you will do

• Drive SMT process development, DFM for SMT/PCB assembly, and system integration.
• Optimize high-layer count PCB manufacturing, including large BGAs and advanced structures.
• Oversee process validation, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and support NPI from prototype to production.
• Manage ECOs, version control using PLM systems like Agile/Propel.
• Lead continuous improvement in yield, cost, quality, and develop best practices compliant with IPC standards.
• Collaborate with design engineering, mechanical teams, product ops, and supply chain partners.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 10+ years in NPI manufacturing engineering specializing in advanced SMT, high-layer (30+) PCB assembly, prototype/production DFM.
• Working knowledge of PLM systems (Agile/Propel) and ECO/MCO/DEV/PCN processes.
• Strong background in circuit debugging, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, 8D methodology.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, communication skills.

Nice to have

• 5+ years leading electrical NPI manufacturing engineering team.
• Experience with large BGA components and high-layer advanced PCB structures.
• Knowledge of data center equipment lifecycle, PCB/component coordination from NPI to end-of-life.
• Experience reviewing PCB layout files in Allegro or similar.
