What you will do

• Execute detailed root cause analysis and implement innovative solutions for production floor problems.
• Manage NCRs, deviations, engineering change orders, and supplier documentation via a Quality Management System.
• Troubleshoot electromechanical products using failure analysis and problem-solving techniques.
• Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and equipment on the production line to optimize yield.
• Perform process validations, author protocols, and generate test reports with data-driven recommendations.
• Train assemblers, technicians, and quality control staff on processes, equipment, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Willingness and ability to work on site in Alameda, CA.
• Experience troubleshooting and working with electromechanical devices.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

Nice to have

• Engineering experience in the medical device industry.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and Lean/Flow Manufacturing.
