What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of PCB layout engineers, providing technical direction and performance guidance.
• Oversee PCB layout execution to ensure designs meet electrical, mechanical, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, project management, and global ECAD partners.
• Review and approve layouts with a focus on functionality, cost, reliability, and DFM.
• Ensure adherence to IPC standards and drive continuous improvement in design processes.
• Manage project planning and resource allocation across multiple concurrent programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in PCB design, layout, or hardware engineering.
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing technical teams or projects.
• Expertise in multi‑layer PCB design, high‑speed routing, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Hands‑on experience with tools such as Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, or KiCad.
• Must be based locally in North Reading, MA; no visa sponsorship available.
