TL;DR

Director, Talent Development (L&D): Designing and delivering global training programs and learning solutions for professional services consultants with an accent on instructional design, leadership coaching, and blended learning. Focus on scaling core capabilities, improving leader engagement, and creating competency-based curricula across 31 countries.

Location: Must be authorized to work in the United States. Potential for flexible work arrangements; travel to offices may be required.

Salary: $136,000 – $246,000

What you will do

  • Consult with internal business leaders to identify training needs and design development options based on global demand planning.
  • Create a competency-based curriculum including fundamental, intermediate, and advanced courses for employees at all levels.
  • Develop blended learning programs using instructional design theories, creating engaging activities, audio, video, and simulations.
  • Facilitate learning programs both in-person and virtually, utilizing expert training techniques.
  • Conduct train-the-trainer events and support internal trainers in the launch of their own training events.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and ROI through surveys and data analysis to continuously improve initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in L&D curriculum development and facilitation.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a professional services environment.
  • Current US work authorization (this position will not sponsor work visas).
  • Experience with learning tools such as Articulate and Synthesia.
  • Ability to travel to FTI offices as needed.

Nice to have

  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Experience with psychometric tools and assessments (e.g., DiSC, MBTI).
  • Prior vendor management and evaluation experience.
  • Expertise in developing micro-learning offerings.
  • Strong research, proofreading, and editing skills.
