What you will do
- Provide hands-on architecture leadership across strategic implementations, including troubleshooting, escalations, and guiding delivery teams.
- Advance architecture practice by introducing AI-driven approaches, reusable playbooks, reference architectures, and scalable patterns.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of architects through goal-setting, 1:1s, performance reviews, hiring, and onboarding.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing, documentation, and delivery.
- Support technical roadmaps, business cases, and participate in Architecture Review Board.
- Drive innovation, recommend technologies, develop best practices, and ensure accurate time reporting.
Requirements
- 8+ years in solution architecture, software engineering, or enterprise platform delivery, including designing scalable systems.
- 3+ years of people leadership or team management, including mentoring and performance management.
- Strong experience with cloud-native architecture: Kubernetes, Helm charts, AWS infrastructure.
- Experience with distributed data platforms, messaging (Kafka, Pulsar), data ingestion/processing pipelines (ETL, real-time).
- Strong understanding of healthcare standards: FHIR, HL7 v2, CDA.
- Experience with enterprise databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, Aurora.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with healthcare regulatory initiatives (CMS APIs, Prior Authorization, Payer-to-Payer, CCD).
- Formal architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF).
