What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive current-state assessments of UDMH and data integration landscapes.
• Document institutional knowledge and architecture to eliminate single points of failure.
• Lead technology evaluations for emerging interoperability tools such as FHIR servers and AI/ML transformation platforms.
• Define and communicate a future-state data architecture roadmap supporting scalability and fault tolerance.
• Design and implement interoperable data solutions using FHIR and HL7 standards.
• Enforce data governance frameworks to ensure HIPAA compliance, data quality, and security.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture with a focus on healthcare interoperability.
• Deep expertise with FHIR, HL7, CCDA, and USCDI standards.
• Proven success in documenting and transitioning legacy systems from single-contributor dependency.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Google BigQuery and Looker.
• Experience with Google Cloud Healthcare API or Aidbox CDR.
