TL;DR
Chief People Officer (Fintech/SaaS): Lead People & Culture for globally distributed workforce across 17 countries, owning end-to-end People operations strategy including HR, Payroll, and Recruitment. Focus on global expansion, M&A integrations, scalable operations, DEI programs, performance frameworks, and organizational change management.
Location: Toronto, ON (hybrid onsite: expected 3-5 days/week in office at 351 King Street East; work-from-home permitted time-to-time)
Salary: CAD$270,000–CAD$320,000

What you will do
- Implement best-in-class People & Culture programs including analytics, total rewards, workforce planning, global expansion, leadership development, DEI, retention, and change management.
- Lead people-related diligence and integrations for M&A, including culture, systems, and organizational design.
- Act as strategic partner to executives, board, and people leaders on workforce strategy, leadership effectiveness, and performance.
- Develop scalable People Operations strategy aligned with business growth and values.
- Build performance-based culture with objectives, engagement programs, accountability, and feedback.
- Design global compensation, benefits, and employee value proposition to attract, retain, and motivate talent.
Requirements
- 10+ years HR/People Operations experience, 8+ years leading global HR functions at senior executive level
- Bachelor’s in business/HR (MBA/Master’s/advanced HR certs as asset)
- 8+ years global HR leadership with international expansion (organic/M&A) in SaaS/tech at scale
- Proven M&A due diligence, post-acquisition integrations, organizational design
- DEI program leadership across global workforce
- High business acumen, executive influence via data/analytics/feedback; experience presenting to leadership/boards
- All duties performed in English
