TL;DR

Strategic Account Manager (SaaS/Fintech): Maintain and grow relationships with key clients in audit and accounting software, driving revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and cloud migrations. Focus on conducting business reviews, providing strategic solutions, and collaborating with sales, product, and consulting teams to exceed client objectives.

Location: Remote position available only to applicants residing and eligible to work in the US

What you will do

  • Cultivate relationships with key clients as primary point of contact for inquiries, escalations, and strategic counsel aligned to their business goals.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess satisfaction, identify improvements, and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Drive revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and cloud solution migrations in collaboration with solution consulting and product teams.
  • Monitor client metrics, analyze performance, and provide insights to internal marketing, sales, and product teams.
  • Track pipeline, account activity in Salesforce, and report on revenue growth, retention, and satisfaction to senior management.
  • Attend industry events, coordinate pilots and implementations, and stay ahead of market trends and competition.

Requirements

  • Reside and be eligible to work in the US
  • 3+ years as account manager selling SaaS to US public accounting or 3+ years in assurance services as auditor or national office/innovation role at large firm.
  • Experience querying Hubspot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Nav for opportunities.
  • Understanding of technology sales, forecasting, lead development, accounting/financial processes.
  • Experience in inside sales, account management, client success; CRM software like Salesforce/HubSpot.
  • Bachelor's in sales, business, accounting, finance or related; strong communication, presentation, stakeholder influence skills.

  • Prior work in audit/accounting technology industry.
  • Experience with sales, campaign, marketing automation solutions.
