What you will do

• Manage month-end close, produce management reporting, and provide commercial performance updates for senior stakeholders.
• Analyze revenue, margins, staffing costs, and key financial drivers to support operational decisions.
• Build and maintain budgets, forecasts, and projections, investigating and challenging variances.
• Partner closely with operations and project teams throughout the event lifecycle.
• Ensure purchase order compliance and reconcile cash and card takings for accurate revenue recognition.
• Support audit processes, year-end requirements, and maintain accurate stock and cost reconciliations.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a commercial finance role within events, venues, hospitality, retail, or a project-led environment.
• Strong proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting.
• Proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders.
• Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (finalists are welcome).
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybridly in London.
