TL;DR
Financial Accountant (SaaS): Managing day-to-day finance operations, bookkeeping, and compliance for a high-growth AI CRM with an accent on financial accuracy, payroll, and tax compliance. Focus on scaling financial processes, optimizing Xero/Stripe workflows, and ensuring robust month-end reporting.
Location: Hybrid (London) - must be able to work from the office at least 4 days per week
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 + Equity

What you will do
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping across entities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and supplier onboarding.
- Lead month-end processes, preparing accruals, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Handle UK payroll inputs and collaborate with global providers.
- Manage tax compliance, including VAT returns and indirect tax reconciliations via Stripe and Xero.
- Support monthly reporting and develop dashboards for business decision-making.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline financial workflows.
Requirements
- Strong accounting fundamentals, ideally within the SaaS or tech industry.
- ACCA qualified or currently working towards an ACCA qualification.
- Experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Proficiency with Xero; experience with Stripe or similar tools is a plus.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UK.
- Ability to work from the London office at least 4 days per week.
