TL;DR

Retail Finance Manager (Cards, Loans & Embedded Finance): Deliver insightful analysis across the full P&L for Cards, Loans, and Embedded Finance products with an accent on forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning. Focus on identifying performance trends, risks, opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations, and influencing decision-making.

Location: Hybrid working in Halifax, Leeds, Bristol, Cardiff, Newport or Chester (at least two days per week or 40% of time in office)

Salary: £67,023 - £74,470

What you will do

  • Deliver insightful analysis across the full P&L for Cards, Loans, and Embedded Finance with Senior Finance Business Partners.
  • Support Planning and Reporting team with forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning through storyboarding and insights.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to influence decision-making and drive commercial outcomes.
  • Identify performance trends, risks, opportunities and communicate to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business drivers with financial strategy.
  • Develop business cases and investment appraisals for new initiatives.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience in financial analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting complex data and presenting insights
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate financial information effectively
  • Experience in fast-paced, commercially focused environment
  • Curious and self-driven mindset
