Corporate Controller (Medtech)

Salary: $170,000 – $190,000

What you will do

• Oversee all accounting and payroll activities, including the month-end close process.
• Serve as the in-house expert for revenue recognition, invoicing, and AP activities.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal controls to ensure conformance with GAAP and external audits.
• Prepare internal and external financial statements and deliver KPI reporting with root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with People Operations and leadership on accurate headcount planning and projections.
• Manage federal, state, and local payroll tax calculations and remittances.

Requirements

• CPA certification.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting.
• 7+ years of experience in Finance, ideally in a startup environment.
• Degree in finance, statistics, economics, business, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks.
• Preference for candidates based in Boston or New York City.
