What you will do

• Research and document complex technical accounting matters (ASC 606, 842, 470) through comprehensive position memoranda.
• Lead end-to-end accounting for equity and stock-based compensation, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Perform recurring technical assessments, including goodwill impairment, segment reporting, and going concern analyses.
• Develop and maintain formal accounting policy documentation to ensure global consistency and GAAP alignment.
• Support the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings (Form 10-Q and 10-K), including consolidated financial statements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and maintain SOX compliance through internal control documentation.

Requirements

• Active CPA license and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably a mix of Big 4/public accounting and industry.
• Hands-on experience working at or supporting a public company.
• Expertise in ASC 718 (equity), ASC 606 (revenue), and ASC 842 (leases).
• Ability to operate within a SOX-compliant environment, including control testing support.
• Must be based in the USA.

• SEC reporting experience.

• Proficiency with modern ERP systems such as NetSuite or Workiva.
