Forward Deployed Engineer (Analytics): Partner with customers to develop custom data models, visualizations, and integrations using Beacon’s platform-hosted analytics for real-world EEG datasets. Focus on transforming biosignals, ML outputs, and clinical metadata into versioned data products, automated pipelines, and interactive dashboards for neurological biomarker discovery.

Location: Based in the Boston area to support regular onsite customer engagement and close partnership with Boston-based team

Salary: $170,000 – $190,000

What you will do

• Work directly with customers to understand data needs and translate them into solutions using Beacon analytics products
• Design and implement custom data solutions, models, visualizations, and integrations on Beacon or customer platforms
• Build and maintain core analytics products like versioned data models, dashboards, reports, and automated pipelines
• Lead technical discussions and provide support, documentation to empower customer self-service
• Translate partnership lessons into product improvements and develop templates for data partnerships

Requirements

• 6+ years developing, testing, and maintaining SQL transformations on data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks
• 2+ years in customer-facing role managing relationships and leading technical conversations
• Familiarity with scientific programming language such as Julia, Python, or R
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for complex analytics concepts
• Product-oriented intuition for configurable solutions from customer needs
• Based in Boston area
