What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models using dbt and Snowflake for Finance, HR, and enterprise metrics.
• Define and standardize core metrics like revenue, ARR, billing, attrition with governed logic and semantic clarity.
• Prepare high-quality datasets for Snowflake Cortex, LLM use cases, and AI-powered workflows.
• Implement data quality testing, validation, documentation, governance, access controls, and lineage in dbt.
• Partner with Finance, Analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into reusable data solutions.
• Contribute to agile planning, self-service analytics, and scalable workflows balancing short- and long-term needs.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or similar
• Strong SQL and experience building analytics-ready data models
• Hands-on with dbt and Snowflake (or similar ETL/modeling tools)
• Solid data modeling principles including dimensional modeling and semantic design
• Experience translating ambiguous business challenges into robust data solutions
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics, Finance/People data (ARR, revenue, billing, attrition)
• Data quality, testing, documentation best practices
• Mentorship, establishing dbt/SQL standards and CI/CD

Nice to have

• Python, R, or PySpark
• BI tools like Tableau or Looker
