Analytics Engineer

What you will do

• Own the Gold layer: define, version, and maintain business metrics and semantic models.
• Build and maintain executive dashboards and visualizations for key insights.
• Define best practices for data visualization, storytelling, and stakeholder adoption.
• Build data marts and semantic layers serving multiple domains.
• Review and certify dashboards for accuracy and standards.
• Collaborate with data engineering on Silver layer requirements and data quality.

Requirements

• 2-5+ years in analytics engineering, BI development, or data visualization
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience with dbt or similar frameworks
• Expertise in BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Mode)
• Familiarity with modern data stack (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Experience designing curated datasets, semantic layers, data marts
• Understanding of medallion architecture, data governance, versioning, CI/CD
• Strong data storytelling and communication skills
• Comfort in hub-and-spoke model balancing central standards and domain consulting
