What you will do

• Lead and grow the recommendations team through hiring, coaching, and creating a high-performance environment.
• Translate product goals into clear, executable engineering plans and set the technical direction.
• Own the quality and impact of recommendations to drive key business metrics.
• Ensure the system is reliable, scalable, and meets strict SLAs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in applied machine learning, including 2+ years leading engineering teams.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, cloud infrastructure, and at least one deep learning framework.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, system design, and APIs.
• English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Timezone: Ability to attend meetings between 11:00–17:00 UTC.
