Salary: $156,000 - $242,000 base

What you will do

• Lead and support a cross-functional team of backend and frontend engineers.
• Partner with Product and Design to evolve audience capabilities into intuitive, scalable user experiences.
• Own reliability and guardrail decisions to protect platform health while enabling customer flexibility.
• Drive execution across multiple initiatives, balancing short-term delivery with sustainable technical direction.
• Foster strong engineering practices around code quality, testing, documentation, and iterative delivery.
• Coach and mentor engineers to support career growth and healthy team dynamics.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing and growing software engineering teams.
• Strong background in application or platform engineering, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• Experience designing and operating large-scale, distributed document indexing and query systems.
• Experience operating production systems at scale, including on-call and incident response.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience building audience management, segmentation, personalization, or experimentation systems.
• Deep experience with large-scale search or analytics engines, high-throughput caching, or streaming data platforms.
• Background in marketing technology or customer engagement platforms.
