What you will do
- Lead and support a team of backend and frontend engineers.
- Partner with Product and Design to evolve audience capabilities into scalable user experiences.
- Take ownership of reliability decisions and guardrails for platform health.
- Drive execution across multiple initiatives, balancing short-term delivery with long-term technical direction.
- Foster strong engineering practices around code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Coach and mentor engineers to support career growth and healthy team dynamics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing and growing software engineering teams.
- Strong background in application or platform engineering in a SaaS environment.
- Experience owning mission-critical services with strict availability expectations.
- Strong technical judgment in system design, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience building audience management, segmentation, or personalization systems.
- Deep experience with large-scale search engines, caching layers, or streaming platforms.
- Experience operating data-sensitive services at scale.
- Background in marketing technology.
