Salary: $179,469 - $262,811

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of data engineers, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and career development support.
• Own the full lifecycle of customer data integrations across multiple product lines, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
• Build core dataflows and data foundations that power new hirify.global products in collaboration with Product and ML teams.
• Drive integration velocity by leveraging AI tooling, standardized architecture, and automation.
• Improve data quality and pipeline reliability through better alerting and self-healing patterns.
• Contribute technically by reviewing code, guiding architecture decisions, and pairing with engineers on complex problems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience.
• Strong technical background in data engineering with Python, PySpark, SQL, dbt, and Airflow.
• Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
• Track record of shipping high-quality data integrations or ETL systems at scale.
• Must be based in the approved US states; position is not eligible for company sponsorship.
• Genuine enthusiasm for and experience with AI-augmented engineering workflows and coding tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in grocery, retail, or supply chain data domains.
• Prior experience at a high-growth startup during rapid customer expansion.
