What you will do

• Drive strategy, design, and delivery of scalable data platforms for BI, predictive analytics, and LLM across enterprise customers.
• Lead complex projects spanning multiple teams, providing technical leadership via architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Adopt Generative AI tools to boost developer productivity and innovation.
• Partner with Product Management and Design to build scalable solutions from business requirements.
• Manage and mentor distributed team of engineers, fostering ownership and improvement.
• Own production health including on-call, incident response, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in CS/IT or equivalent; 10+ years software experience including 3+ years managing data engineering teams
• Proven delivery of enterprise SaaS products at scale.
• Hands-on/architectural experience with data tools like Airflow, dbt, Kafka, AWS Glue/Redshift/Sagemaker/Dynamo/QuickSight.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture, ETL/ELT, data modeling, SQL, Python, Typescript.
• Knowledge of AI tools like Langchain, OpenAI Agents.
• Excellent communication in startup environment.
