TL;DR

Director, Deal Desk (SaaS): Leading and scaling the Deal Desk function to optimize complex commercial agreements with an accent on deal velocity, pricing strategy, and revenue recognition. Salary: $185,300 – $247,800 USD

What you will do

  • Partner with Sales leadership to structure complex, high-value SaaS transactions and serve as an escalation point for pricing and contractual terms.
  • Develop and enforce pricing and discounting frameworks aligned with company objectives and governance models.
  • Manage the quote-to-cash lifecycle, ensuring seamless transition from closed deals to billing and revenue recognition.
  • Maintain revenue integrity and compliance with ASC 606 in close partnership with the Chief Accounting Officer.
  • Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing Deal Desk team, establishing clear KPIs and career paths.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and leverage data analytics to improve deal velocity and performance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, or Finance within a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Deep expertise in quote-to-cash processes and supporting complex, multi-element SaaS transactions.
  • Solid knowledge of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and CPQ systems (Salesforce CPQ preferred).
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment.

Nice to have

  • Experience in vertical SaaS, SMB, or mid-market segments.
  • Background in Accounting, Finance, Consulting, or Investment Banking.
  • Experience building or scaling Deal Desk functions from the ground up.
