What you will do

• Lead a coordinated finance operations transformation spanning people, process, and automation.
• Own the Product-Finance operating model to ensure real-time visibility and tight business integration.
• Implement automation and AI layers across TOPS, Payroll, AP, Tax, and other workflows to achieve step-change outcomes.
• Design and maintain KPIs, performance targets, and reporting infrastructure for finance teams.
• Coordinate with FinSys and Engineering teams to prioritize and execute automation and systems work.
• Partner with the CFO on headcount rationalization and organizational optimization within the Finance function.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a hands-on finance operator who has driven real cost and efficiency outcomes.
• Deep experience across the full financial operations stack: AP, AR, Payroll, TOPS, Tax, close, reporting, and controls.
• Ability to redesign financial workflows and operating models from first principles in high-growth environments.
• Hands-on experience applying AI tools and automation to financial operations with shipped outcomes.
• Proven ability to coordinate with and influence engineering and systems teams without direct line authority.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, financial services, or crypto, particularly with complex money movement.
• Prior ERP transformation or financial systems implementation experience.
• Familiarity with SOX controls or audit remediation in a Finance context.
• Experience managing globally distributed finance teams.
