What you will do

• Provide fund accounting and administration services, including NAV preparation, review, and reporting.
• Manage and train a team of Fund Accountants to ensure high-quality service delivery and professional growth.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to ensure the smooth completion of the NAV cycle.
• Review and approve fee schedules, management fees, carried interest, and investor allocations.
• Manage AML requirements and respond to complex client queries.
• Drive the growth of the local office and implement technological improvements to the NAV process.

Requirements

• University Degree with a concentration in finance or accounting.
• 10+ years of experience in fund administration, with at least 6 years specifically in a Private Equity role.
• Proven track record of managing staff and leading teams.
• In-depth understanding of Private Equity fund structures, Waterfall fee calculations, and LPA reviews.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with fund accounting software (Investran is an asset).
• Must be based in or able to work in Toronto, Canada.
