What you will do

• Manage acquisition processes for new subsidiaries, including due diligence and opening balance sheets.
• Apply GAAP/IFRS adjustments for deferred revenue, capitalized software, and lease accounting.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reporting packages for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Perform impairment analysis of Goodwill and intangibles.
• Manage a team of 1-2 accountants by reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Coordinate sales tax payments and assist internal/external auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• 5+ years of experience in a relevant accounting field.
• 1-3 years of experience leading people or processes.
• 3+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
• Must be based in North America.

Nice to have

• CPA designation or public accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance & Operations.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP implementation or integration.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS principles.
