Manager, Reporting & Finance (Power BI)

Location: Chicago, IL; hybrid arrangement with 2 days per week on-site at 70 W Madison St, Chicago. Remote work may be available for non-local employees, subject to the arrangement.

Salary: $120,000–$135,000 annually, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead recurring and ad hoc project, portfolio, and management reporting for senior leadership, committees, and stakeholders.
• Analyze financial performance against forecasts, budgets, and business case expectations.
• Validate financial metrics, monitor forecast accuracy, and escalate risks and issues.
• Maintain portfolio-level forecasts and provide insights for executive decision-making.
• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, expense management, and cost optimization.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and improve reporting processes, standards, controls, and oversight routines.

Requirements

• Experience in finance, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, detail orientation, and professional presentation skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI Desktop and dashboard development.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, project teams, business sponsors, and senior stakeholders.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified U.S. location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required where applicable.
