Senior Finance Business Partner

Location: Hybrid, up to 50% work from home; open to Compeer office locations in Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Base pay: $84,400–$127,700 USD annually, plus variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop annual and strategic operating budgets and forecasts with business units.
• Build financial models and conduct financial planning, business case, ROI, and investment analyses.
• Analyze financial statements, scorecard metrics, cost drivers, monthly variances, and profitability results.
• Prepare management reports and lead operating reviews for assigned business units.
• Provide recommendations and strategic decision support to senior leadership.
• Improve finance processes, reporting tools, and analytical deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting principles, financial statements, and financial modeling.
• Advanced proficiency with financial and technology applications such as general ledger software, MS Access, Excel, OneStream, or Axiom.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, collaboration, problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
• Ability to influence and negotiate, communicate complex financial information clearly, and work independently and collaboratively.
• U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship or transfer of sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Farm Credit or financial services experience.
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
