Salary: $135,000 - $149,000 + bonus

What you will do
- Lead and manage the payroll team to ensure accurate and compliant processing across all employee populations and jurisdictions.
- Design and administer competitive base pay, incentive programs, and salary bands aligned with company philosophy.
- Oversee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) administration.
- Manage equity programs, stock options, and participant records using platforms like Shareworks.
- Partner with Finance and Legal to align payroll data with general ledger entries and ensure 409A compliance.
- Establish reporting cadences for leadership to provide visibility into payroll costs and equity pool health.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or Business Administration.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in total rewards across payroll, compensation, benefits, and equity.
- 3+ years of direct equity program management experience.
- Proven experience leading and developing professional teams.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems (UKG preferred).
- Must be authorized to work in the US (based on tax and benefit requirements).
Nice to have
- CPP, CCP, or CBP professional designations.
- Experience in high-growth technology or pre-IPO company environments.
- Familiarity with equity administration during fundraising rounds or M&A activity.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
