Location: Tokyo, Japan. Hybrid work: required in-office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days)

What you will do

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and pre-qualification to negotiation and closing for strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base in Japan.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and deliver tailored product demonstrations to educate clients on increasing productivity and collaboration.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing structures to secure profitable deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to deliver maximum value to clients.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in full cycle sales at a fast-growing IT company.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise SaaS sales specifically within the Japan region.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing large-figure enterprise deals.
  • Ability to sell into C-Level and navigate complex stakeholder environments across various business lines.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both Japanese and English.
  • Must be based in Tokyo and able to work from the office on designated Anchor Days.

  • Experience as an early sales hire at a fast-growing startup.
  • Strong technical knowledge and deep understanding of SaaS products.
  • Experience in direct sales as well as selling through Partners.
  • Expertise in quarterly sales planning and new logo acquisition.
