TL;DR

Account Executive, Business Growth Sales (SaaS): Driving revenue and expanding strategic customer accounts for hirify.global's business growth segment with an accent on full-cycle sales and pipeline development. Focus on defining sales motions, running product demos, and building executive-level relationships to scale customer adoption.

Location: Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in-office)

What you will do

  • Prospect and develop new accounts by educating contacts on collaboration and productivity improvements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Iterate on contract renewal processes to retain customers and mitigate churn.
  • Conduct face-to-face and Zoom meetings and product demos to close business at or above quota.
  • Help build sales playbooks and define GTM sales motions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer success, solution engineering, and legal teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in full cycle sales at a fast-growing IT company.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Builder mentality and ability to operate in ambiguous environments.
  • Must be based in Tokyo to work from the office on designated anchor days.

Nice to have

  • Experience as an early sales hire at a fast-growing startup.
  • Strong technical background.
  • Experience with Partner sales or new logo acquisition.
  • Familiarity with Usage Based Pricing (UBP).
