What you will do

• Design and develop automated industrial equipment and electro-mechanical systems for advanced SLT applications.
• Translate system architecture concepts into high-volume, manufacturable products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and global engineering teams.
• Develop mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies including structures, cables, PCBAs, and precision mechanisms.
• Drive solutions for robotic test head manipulation, docking/clamping systems, and standardized test interfaces.
• Engage with global suppliers and manufacturing partners to deliver cost-effective, scalable designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in machine design.
• Deep expertise in FEA, tolerancing, precision alignment, actuators, bearings, sensors, and materials.
• High proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with PDM, ERP/MRP systems.
• No visa sponsorship available.
• Must be local to the position location (North Reading, MA).
