TL;DR

Location: US Remote (PNW)

Salary: $260,000 - $330,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to ongoing utilization for commercial prospects.
  • Organize and manage POC implementations of dbt Cloud Enterprise.
  • Collaborate with the product team to help shape the dbt Cloud commercial roadmap.
  • Lead and contribute to internal projects aimed at optimizing the sales process.
  • Develop deep expertise in SQL, dbt, and commercial data operations.
  • Engage actively with the dbt open source community.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience closing technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into a consultative sales approach.
  • Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders from developers up to the CTO.
  • High level of diligence and organizational skill to manage long and intricate sales cycles.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
  • Must be based in the US (Pacific Northwest).

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software.
  • Direct knowledge of or prior experience with dbt.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
