TL;DR

Director of Sales (SaaS): Leading the acquisition strategy and managing a multi-disciplinary team to drive enterprise-level sales growth in the public safety sector with an accent on complex deal cycles and government procurement. Focus on scaling sales operations, mentoring high-performing teams, and executing go-to-market strategies for CAD, RMS, and JMS solutions.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote)

Compensation: $150,000 Base / $200,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Build, mentor, and lead a diverse team of sales professionals and technical consultants.
  • Take full ownership of the new name sales cycle, from prospecting to closing complex enterprise contracts.
  • Transform go-to-market vision into measurable results and increased net bookings.
  • Engage directly in high-value opportunities and cultivate executive-level relationships with public safety leaders.
  • Utilize data-driven forecasting and CRM insights to optimize team performance.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Senior leadership experience in B2B or SaaS sales departments.
  • Extensive experience closing complex, high-value enterprise deals with long sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting, coaching, and scaling diverse sales and technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of procurement hurdles and regulatory environments in the public sector.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Direct knowledge of Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, or 9-1-1 dispatch operations.
  • Experience navigating government RFP/RFQ processes and grant funding models.
  • Understanding of how to leverage artificial intelligence to optimize sales workflows.
