Data Engineer (Marketing Analytics)

TL;DR

Data Engineer (Python/Power BI): Optimizing Python data pipelines and developing Power BI data models for marketing analytics with an accent on ETL processes and GA4 integration. Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, NC (Remote: Monday, Friday; Onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

What you will do

• Design and architect scalable marketing data infrastructure and Power BI data models tailored for analytical needs.
• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and Python scripts to integrate GA4 with other marketing platforms.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable marketing insights and automate reporting.
• Perform advanced data analysis, audience segmentation, and clustering models to optimize campaign targeting.
• Refactor and clean up existing Python codebase to improve maintainability and system reliability.
• Implement version control best practices using GitHub and establish technical documentation frameworks.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Charlotte, NC.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence roles.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Power BI (including DAX).
• Command of Google Analytics (GA4) and Google BigQuery (GBQ).
• Experience with GitHub and version control systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM systems (Sales Cloud).
• SaaS platform familiarity.
• Certification in Power BI or related BI tools.
